To celebrate Easter, I put together this pattern for an Easter bunny beanie. However, with all the Easter celebrating, I ran out of time to post it this weekend. Happy Belated Easter! In fact, this could be great for spring in general and can be made in a smaller size for kids.
Supplies:

Instructions:
Main Hat
1. Beginning with grey yarn and P hook, make a magic ring and single crochet 6 times into it.
2. *inc in every stitch* around-12 sts
3. *1sc, 1inc* around-18 sts
4. *2sc, 1inc* around-24 sts
5. *3sc, 1inc* around -30 sts
6. *4sc, 1inc* around -36 sts
7. *5sc, 1inc* around – 42 sts
8. *6sc, 1inc* 3 times, then sc around – 45 sts
9. sc in the round until hat measures 7 inches from beginning. WITHOUT FASTENING OFF, Try the hat on and adjust your number of rows so that hat fits to your liking.

13. Ch 1, turn, 1 dec, 6sc, 1 dec -8 sts
14. Ch 1, turn, 1 dec, 4sc, 1 dec – 6 sts

Fasten off.
1. Join new strand of grey yarn and 10sc directly opposite other ear flap
2. Ch 1, turn, 10sc
3. Ch 1, turn, 10sc
4. Ch 1, turn, 1dec, 6sc, 1dec – 8 sts
5. Ch 1, turn, 1dec, 4sc, 1dec – 6 sts
6. Ch 1, turn, 1dec, 2sc, 1dec – 4 sts
7. Ch 1, turn, 2dec – 2sts
Fasten off.
With soft white, sc around bottom edge of beanie.
Fasten off.
Cheeks
1. With soft white and J hook, make a magic loop and sc 6 times into it.
2. *inc* around – 12 sts
3. *1sc, 1inc* around – 18 sts
4. *2sc, 1inc* around – 24 sts
5. *3sc, 1inc* around – 30 sts
Slip stitch in next sc and Fasten off.
Nose
1. With pink yarn and J hook, Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across.
2. *Ch 1, turn, skip 1, sc to last 2 sts, 1dec* Repeat between *s until 2 sts remain, then 1dec. Fasten off.

Fasten off.
Finishing
Sew white inner ears to grey outer ears, stretching material as needed to make the ear pieces line up. Then, sew to the top of the hat. Sew cheeks to front of the hat, sew nose above the cheeks. Sew two buttons on for eyes with white thread. Cut 1-yard lengths of grey and soft white yarn. With two strands of grey and 1 strand of white, fold lengths in half, pull through bottom of earflap, and braid or chain with P hook.
