7 Projects for the Home to Inspire

I love having a home with personal touches. Anyone can buy something sterile and plain, but it is the truly creative people who will transform those items into pieces that are uniquely theirs. Here are some ideas from projects I made for Stampington & Company that you can explore completely by clicking on the photo.

1. Pineapple String Art

   Create this whimsical pallet art with just a few nails and colored Divine Twine in yellow and green. The wood pallet also adds a rustic touch that pairs perfectly with the pineapple motif.

2. Art Deco Wallpaper Ledge

   
   This rustic wood ledge fits four standard-size Mason jars. Store brushes, art supplies, or even cooking supplies in it.

   I went to a Parisian-themed birthday party a while ago and could not believe all the beautiful touches that she added to the party. This Eiffel Tower has some colorful paper roses that accessorize well with the tassel banner behind it.

   Whether it’s a baby mobile hanging above a crib or a decoration for catching the morning light from your window, this mobile will provide a little sparkle to any corner of the room. With chandelier pendants and chipboard feathers, this mobile combines the best of glam and boho.

5. Dreamcatcher Project

   
   This project uses an interesting technique. Covering a piece of tissue paper in spray ink, then pouring resin over the sheet produces a colored, transparent sheet that can be stenciled on or cut into shapes.

   These rustic houses are perfect for decorating a mantle, or leaving on a bedside table to remind you where your heart truly is.
